Brabourn Grove- Pekcham

Brabourn Grove is a two-storey Victorian property that had an existing loft conversion. This home has been further enhanced with a full-width ground floor rear extension.

The extension is strategically set back, creating an additional east-facing façade that brings abundant light into the dining area and offers unobstructed garden views. Centered around a new courtyard, the design enhances the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, maximizing light and sightlines. A curved junction harmoniously transitions between different extension heights toward neighboring properties. The extension features pale brick walls with oak-framed openings, seamlessly blending with the home's elegant interior palette of oak, concrete, and curved plasterwork. The courtyard integrates the exterior design language into the house, resulting in a sculptural, timeless project.
